On 1 July 2021, the VAT exemption for the importation of goods into the EU not exceeding EUR 22 has been removed.
As a result, all goods imported into the EU are subject to VAT
[As-Is] VAT exemption and customs duties for cargo less than EUR 22.00/invoice value has been exempted.
[To-Be] VAT must be accrued and paid for all cargo. For cargo below EUR150.00/invoice value, duty may be waived.
*From July 1st, in the case of shipments scheduled to be received in EU countries and customs cleared for import,
the shipment will be delivered after paying taxes such as VAT to the shipping company.
If any fees including tax are incurred, the shipping company will charge the recipient.
